- 2 envelopes granular yeast
- 1 c. milk
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 4 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 3 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Soften yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.

2Scald milk.

3Add 2 tablespoons sugar and salt.

4Cool to lukewarm; add yeast.

5Stir well.

6Beat in eggs and 4 tablespoons butter.

7Add flour, stirring, until moderately firm dough is formed.

8Turn dough out on lightly floured board; knead until dough is smooth and not sticky.

9Roll up; cut into slices.

10Put buns on buttered baking sheet.

11Cover; let rise 30 minutes (or double in bulk).

12Bake at 400° for 20 minutes, or until brown.
