- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
Directions

1Butter 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan (may use round).

2Soften the yeast in warm water.

3Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.

4Add milk to sugar and salt; mix thoroughly and cool to lukewarm.

5Add 1 cup flour and mix until smooth.

6Stir in yeast.

7Add remaining flour gradually, mixing well.
