- 4 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 1 1/3 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. red food coloring
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon oil (can be purchased at most pharmacies)
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Mix sugar, water and syrup.

2Cook, without stirring, until mixture reaches hard crack stage on candy thermometer (25 to 50 minutes). Remove from heat. Add food coloring and cinnamon oil. Stir carefully (mixture is hot). Sift powdered sugar into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Pour mixture into pan.

4Let set 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Crack with handle of butter knife.

5Sift more powdered sugar on top.

6Store in jars or Ziploc bags.
