Cinnamon Candy

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Stir together and boil until hard crack stage on medium heat. (Use a candy thermometer.)

    Then add red food coloring, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon oil (more if you like it hotter).

    Mix well.

    Pour onto buttered cookie sheet.

    After it hardens (about 1 hour), break up.

    Put in bowl or jar with powdered sugar and shake until candy is well coated.
