- 2 cups Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 cup Cinnamon Chips
- 1 whole Egg, Separated
- 3/4 cups Buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°F.

2Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender. Stir in cinnamon chips.

3Mix egg yolk, buttermilk, and vanilla in a glass measuring cup. Add to dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.

4Scrape dough onto floured surface. Knead 6-8 times.

5Divide dough in half. Form 6-inch circle with dough and cut each circle into 6 triangles. Place on baking sheet (not greased).

6Cook for 15-18 minutes, rotating 180 degrees at halfway point. Cool on a wire rack.
