  • 1 c. water
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. 1
    Combine water, oleo, shortening, cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla in double boiler.
  2. 2
    Bring to a boil then add to dry ingredients. Bake 15 minutes at 350° (on flat cookie sheet).
