- 1/3 c. water
- 5 medium apples
- 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp. softened margarine
Directions

1Coat an 11 x 7 x 2-inch casserole dish with cooking spray. Pour water in dish.

2Peel, core and slice apples; arrange apples in dish.

3Coat apples lightly with cooking spray.

4Combine the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; cut in margarine with blender until mixture is coarse like corn meal.

5Sprinkle evenly over apples.

6Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes, or until apples are tender.
