- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 egg whites
- 1 dash salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups whole natural almonds
- 1-1/3 tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 1 dash nutmeg
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325F.

2Melt butter by placing it in a jelly roll pan and heating in oven for 7 minutes.

3Meanwhile, beat egg whites with the salt until frothy; gradually add the sugar.

4Beat until stiff peaks form.

5Gently fold in the almonds, cinnamon, cayenne and nutmeg.

6Pour almond mixture onto the jelly roll pan, toss with the now melted butter.

7Bake for about 40 minutes.

8Toss them every 10 minutes until the almonds are crisp.

9Serve warm or at room temperature.
