- 1 c. scalded milk
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 to 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. raisins
Directions

1Scald milk with butter.

2Add salt and sugar to milk.

3When milk is lukewarm, add yeast (mixed in lukewarm water to dissolve), then add egg and mix well.

4Last add flour and raisins.

5Knead enough to make a soft ball (not sticky).

6Works well in large Tupperware bowl.

7Let rise until double, then put in 2 round cake pans.

8Let rise half again the size.

9Top with melted butter or margarine and add cinnamon and sugar.

10Can put a crumb crust on top as for apple crumb pie.

11Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.
