- 2 1/2 c. pecans (halves)
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Heat pecan halves for 15 minutes at 200°; set aside.

2Cook sugar, water, cinnamon and salt in heavy saucepan without stirring to 236°.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and pecan halves.

5Stir gently until nuts are well coated and mix looks glossy.

6Turn out on well greased cookie sheet and separate using 2 forks.
