  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Grease a 10-inch tube pan.

    Set aside.

    Preheat oven to 325°. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

    Combine flour, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon soda, cocoa and cinnamon; add alternately with sour cream, beating after each addition.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Pour into prepared pan.

    Bake for 75 minutes, or until done.
