- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
- Raisin Filling
- Cinnamon Icing
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Sift together dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture.

3Add oats and 1 tablespoon water.

4Mix until crumbly.

5Firmly pat half the mixture in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

6Spread with Raisin Filling.

7Mix remaining crumbs and 1 tablespoon water.

8Spoon over filling; pat smooth.

9Bake in moderate oven (350°) about 35 minutes.

10Cool. Drizzle with Cinnamon Icing.

11Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
