- FOR THE BISCUITS:
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 cups Shortening
- 2/3 cups Milk
- 1/2 cups Raisins

- FOR THE ICING:
- 1 cup Confectioners Sugar
- 5 teaspoons Milk
- 3/4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
Directions

1In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in shortening till you have a crumbly appearance. Stir in milk and raisins and mix until just combined.

2Turn dough onto floured surface and knead about 2 minutes. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a floured 2 inch biscuit cutter.

3Place on an ungreased baking sheet in a preheated 450F oven for 12- 15 minutes or until golden.

4Mix icing ingredients in a small bowl until well combined. Drizzle biscuits with icing and enjoy.
