Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 4 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. scalded milk
  • 3/4 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast in 1/4 c. lukewarm water

Directions

    Pour hot milk over butter. Add sugar and salt; stir well. Crumble yeast in warm water.

    Let set.

    When milk is cool, add yeast and beaten eggs. Slowly add flour (not necessary to use all the flour).

    Knead until smooth.

    Let rise double in size.

    Knead down and roll out. Spread with butter (oleo). Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

    Roll and slice; let rise. Bake at 375° until brown, about 15 minutes.
