- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. warm water
- 8 c. flour
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 sticks melted butter
- 16 oz. sour cream
- additional melted butter to brush on dough
- cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins and nuts as desired
Directions

1Mix together yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar and warm water; set aside for 10 to 15 minutes.

2Mix flour into yeast mixture; add eggs, 2/3 cup sugar, butter and sour cream, then knead.

3Put into greased bowl and cover; let rise approximately 4 hours.

4Divide in 4 sections.

5Roll out each and brush with butter.

6Sprinkle cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins and nuts and roll up.

7Cut and put in greased pans and let rise.

8Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Drizzle with powdered sugar and water mixture.
