Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 yellow cake mix (no pudding in mix)
  • all-purpose flour

Directions

    Add water and yeast together until yeast is dissolved.

    Add cake mix and enough flour to make stiff dough.

    Knead, let rise until double in size.

    Roll out.

    Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nuts and raisins (optional).

    Roll up slice about 1 to 1 1/2-inch slices.

    Place in buttered pan and let rise about 1 hour.

    Bake at 350° until golden brown and glaze.
