  • 1 c. powdered milk
  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted and cooled
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar (powdered)
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. half and half

Directions

    Combine powdered milk, water, yeast, sugar, 1/2 cup melted butter and 2 cups flour.

    Beat well.

    Let stand 1 1/2 hours.

    Add 2 cups flour, more if needed, salt, baking powder and soda.

    Divide in 2 pieces and roll to 10 x 18-inch rectangle.
