- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 x vegetable margerine
- 1 stick butter melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup nuts
Directions

1Mix sourdough starter, salt, baking powder, flour, soda and oil.

2Form into dough.

3Knead lightly.

4Roll into 1/4 inch thickness on floured surface.

5Spread with soft margerine.

6Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

7Roll up as for jelly roll, cut into 1/2 inch slices.

8Spread topping in bottom of 9 x 13.

9Place roll slices on top, flat side down.

10Bake in 350F (180C) oven for 30 minutes.

11Remove immediately by overturning on cookie sheet.

12Topping: Combine 1 stick melted margerine, 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup nuts.
