- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick or pinch of ground cinnamon
Directions

1Combine ingredients in 1-quart saucepan.

2Bring to boil, shaking pan gently until sugar dissolves, then boil, without stirring, until thick and syrupy for 8 to 10 minutes.

3Discard cinnamon stick and store in jar with screw top.

4Store in refrigerator and shake well before using (or warm in microwave). Yields 2 cups.
