Ingredients
- 1 can (6 oz.) mushrooms (stems and pieces)
- 2 cans (6 1/2 oz. each) minced or chopped clams
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
- 2 c. half and half or Coffee Rich
Directions

1Drain mushrooms and clams.

2Reserve liquid.

3Saute mushrooms, clams and onions in butter for 10 minutes.

4Blend in flour, salt and pepper and simmer 5 minutes.

5Stir in half and half; bring it to a boil.

6Cool 5 minutes.

7Pour half of mixture in blender, blending until smooth.

8Return to saucepan and heat.

9Makes 4 to 6 servings.
