  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. clam juice
  • 1/2 c. chopped clams
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar

Directions

    Beat eggs, milk, clam juice and chopped clams slightly with a spoon.

    Add sifted dry ingredients and mix until flour mixture disappears.

    Drop, by spoonfuls, into hot, deep fat.

    Cook 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown.
