- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. chopped celery
- flour (to thicken saute)
- 4 c. clam juice
- 2 clam bouillon cubes
- 12 oz. chopped clams
- 2 c. boiled potatoes
- some salt pork
- 2 pt. half and half cream
Directions

1Saute the onions and celery in the butter.

2Add the flour to thicken saute.

3Add the clam juice and cook slowly until thickened. Add the bouillon cubes, clams and potatoes.

4Throw in some salt pork.

5Cook all together until flavors are all blended. Remove the salt pork and then add the half and half cream.

6Heat just a few more minutes and serve.
