- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 large onion
- 3 cans minced clams
- 6 baking potatoes
- 2 cans Carnation milk
- 3 c. water
Directions

1Chop the bacon and onion into bite size pieces.

2Put chopped bacon pieces in skillet; saute and remove from skillet.

3Blot grease from bacon with paper towel.

4Add chopped onion to bacon grease and cook onion until translucent.

5Blot grease from onion. Peel potatoes and cut into cubes.

6Put bacon, onion and potatoes in a large crock-pot.

7Add 3 cups water to bacon, onion and potatoes. Cook on high 3 hours.

8Add the drained minced clams and milk. Continue to cook 2 more hours on low setting.

9Salt and pepper to taste.
