Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. cooked crumbled bacon or cooked diced ham
  • 6 potatoes, diced
  • 3 carrots, diced
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • chopped onion
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup plus 1 cube chicken bouillon
  • 2 or 3 cans minced clams
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Cover with water and cook potatoes, carrots, celery, onion and ham or bacon.

    When tender, add clams, soup and cube.

    Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

    Add 2 cans milk.

    Heat, but do not boil.
