- 3 to 5 doz. clams, picked out
- 2 large onions
- 2 large potatoes
- 5 stalks celery
- 1/3 c. flour
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1 qt. water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 or 3 Tbsp. catsup
- Tabasco sauce to taste
Directions

1Grind onions, potatoes, celery and clams.

2Put fat in bottom of heavy pot.

3Stir in flour.

4Add ground mixture, water and seasonings.

5Boil just until vegetables are tender.
