- 2 (6 oz.) cans clams
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- pepper to taste
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 quart Half and Half
Directions

1Add all vegetables to pan and add enough water to cover.

2Cook until potatoes are tender.

3Add salt and pepper.

4Melt butter and add flour, blending until smooth.

5Add half and half and keep stirring until thick and smooth.

6Add to the vegetables and add clams.

7(Don't boil with the clams or they will become tough.)
