- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 3/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 qt. half and half
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Place onions, potatoes and celery in large pot.

2Drain clams and pour clam juice over vegetables.

3Add enough water to just barely cover vegetables.

4Simmer 30 minutes.
