- 2 c. clam juice
- 6 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- 6 to 8 carrots, peeled and diced
- 4 to 6 crisped slices bacon, crumbled
- 2 c. water
- potato flakes (optional)
Directions

1Mix all except 1st ingredient in large stockpot.

2Cook until vegetables are tender.

3Add clams and simmer.

4To thicken, add potato flakes to desired consistency.

5Add seasonings that you prefer.
