- 3 large potatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- salt and pepper
- 2 or 3 strips bacon
- 1 1/2 qt. water
Directions

1Cut up fine or grind clams.

2Dice potatoes.

3Add onion, salt and pepper to taste.

4Cook until potatoes are tender.

5Fry bacon to crisp.

6Remove bacon and pour essence in pot.
