- 4 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4 c. milk
- 2 (7 1/2 oz.) minced clams and juice
- 1 (1 lb.) bag hash browns
Directions

1Saute bacon; add onion and celery (chopped).

2Cook until vegetables are tender.

3Stir in flour.

4Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until mixture boils.

5Add clams and juice.

6Season to taste.

7Bring chowder to a boil again.

8Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

9Add potatoes and simmer again for 15 minutes.
