- 4 qt. water
- 1 c. onion
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 2 cans evaporated milk
- 5 lb. potatoes, cubed
- 1 1/2 c. celery
- 2 cans chopped clams
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Fill large saucepan with 4 quarts water.

2Add potatoes, onion and celery.

3Let boil until vegetables are tender.

4Add salt to taste, the margarine and clams.

5Add the cornstarch to the boiling mixture.

6Let boil again.
