  • 4 qt. water
  • 1 c. onion
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • 5 lb. potatoes, cubed
  • 1 1/2 c. celery
  • 2 cans chopped clams
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Fill large saucepan with 4 quarts water.

    Add potatoes, onion and celery.

    Let boil until vegetables are tender.

    Add salt to taste, the margarine and clams.
  5. 5
    Add the cornstarch to the boiling mixture.

    Let boil again.
