Ingredients

  • 6 strips bacon, fried crisp and crushed with rolling pin
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 bottle clam juice
  • 2 to 3 cans minced clams, drained
  • 4 to 5 potatoes, cubed
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes

Directions

    Saute onion in bacon fat and remove.

    Boil potatoes in clam juice until just tender.

    Add onion, bacon and chicken bouillon. Add rest of ingredients.

    Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.

    Do not allow to boil.
