- 2 slices of bacon, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cu flour
- 2 can (6 1/2 oz ea.) minced clams
- 1 pint noon-fat half-and-half
- 1/2 teas salt
- 1/8 tea white pepper
Directions

1In a 3 quart micro proof casserole, cook bacon on HI for 3 min. Stir in onions and potatoes and cook at 90 for 8 to 10 minutes until potatoes are tender.

2In a glass earring cup melt butter on HI 1 min.

3Stir in flour and then add to potato onion mixture, mixing well.

4Add rest of ingredients including clam juice stir and cook covered for about 5 minutes until chowder is hot. Stir at least once during cooking.
