Ingredients
- 4 to 4 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. warm milk
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 1 egg
Directions

1In large bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, undissolved yeast and salt.

2Gradually add milk, water and butter to dry ingredients.

3Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.

4Add egg and 1/2 cup flour, beat 2 minutes at higher speed, scraping bowl occasionally. With spoon stir in enough flour to make soft dough.

5Cover tightly and let set 2 to 4 hours.

6Punch dough down, turn out on lightly floured board.

7Shape any way you wish and place on pan.

8Cover, let rise to double in bulk, about 40 minutes.

9Bake in 375° oven 15 to 20 minutes or until brown.
