Classic Lasagne

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 pkg. lasagne
Directions

1In large pan lightly brown beef and onions.

2Add tomato paste, water, parsley, salt, sugar, garlic powder, pepper and oregano. Simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, cook lasagne as directed.

3Drain.

4In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, spread about 1 cup sauce, then alternate layers of lasagne, sauce and cheese, ending with sauce and cheese.

5Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbling.

6Allow to stand for 15 minutes.

7Cut in squares.
