- grated peel of 1/2 lemon
- 6 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- dash of salt
Directions

1In a saucepan, lightly beat the egg and egg yolks.

2Add the remaining ingredients.

3Cook over low heat; stir constantly until the mixture thickens, about 5 to 8 minutes.

4Serve hot or cold. Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
