- pastry for single crust
- 8 slices crisp bacon
- 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. light cream
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of nutmeg
Directions

1Cook and crumble bacon.

2Cook onion in bacon drippings until tender.

3Mix eggs, milk, cream, flour and seasoning.

4Stir in bacon, onion and Swiss cheese.

5Pour in shell.

6Cover edges of crust with foil if necessary to prevent overbrowning.

7Bake at 325° for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
