- 1.5 c. water
- 1 c. finely chopped onion
- .5 c. finely chopped celery
- 1 T. pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 t. savory or sage
- .5 t. rosemary ( use small branch )
- .5 t. nutmeg
- .5 t. cinnamon
- salt
- .5 c. large flake oats
- Pastry pate brisee
- egg wash glaze
Directions

1Pork, water, onion, celery in pot, bring to boil.

2Add herbs etc, cover & cook 1.5 hours med-low.

3Add salt halfway through. Add oats at end, cook 1-2 minutes. Let cool. Roll out pastry, add filling, cover with pastry, glaze. Bake 425' for 15 min. Lower heat to 375', bake further 25 min.

4Freeze 2nd pie.
