Classic Walnut Pie

  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. Karo (light or dark)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1 1/4 c. large pieces walnuts

Directions

    Heat oven to 400°.

    Combine eggs, sugar, flour, Karo, butter and vanilla; blend well.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Arrange walnuts on top.

    Bake in a 400° oven for 15 minutes.

    Reduce oven to 350°; bake 35 or 45 minutes, or until center appears set. Cool.
