  • 2 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 3/4 c. warm water

Directions

    Blend flour, shortening and sugar together.

    Dissolve yeast in water; mix with hands.

    Roll into balls (three).

    Put each ball in muffin tin to form a cloverleaf.

    Makes 12 rolls.

    Let rise 1 hour before baking.

    Bake at 450° for 12 minutes.
