- 2 (1/4 ounce) packages active dry yeast
- 12 cup warm water (110*)
- 1 12 cups warm milk
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 14 cup shortening
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water.

2Beat in milk, sugar, egg, shortening, salt and 2 cups flour until smooth.

3Stir in enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.

4Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minute.

5Place in a greased bowl, turning once to coat top.

6Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hours

7Punch dough down.

8Roll into 90 balls; place three balls each in greased muffin cups.

9Cover and let rise until doubled, about 45 minute

10Bake at 375* for 12-14 min or until golden brown.

11Cool on wire racks.
