Ingredients
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt (level)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 yeast cakes
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 8 c. flour (approximately)
Directions

1Pour boiling water over sugar, salt and shortening.

2Mix until dissolved.

3Let stand until lukewarm.

4Dissolve 2 yeast cakes in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.

5Mix with other ingredients.

6Add 2 beaten eggs.

7Start adding flour gradually until all is used up.

8Set in refrigerator overnight.

9In the morning take out and knead on board.
-
10Form into 3 little balls and put in cupcake pans.

11Let raise for 3 hours in warm place covered with a damp cloth.

12When raised nicely, bake in 400° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

13Brush top with butter before baking.
