- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 3 c. favorite canned or fresh fruit
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg
Directions

1Melt 1/2 cup butter in 13 x 9-inch pan.

2Sift first 4 ingredients together in bowl.

3Add 3/4 cup milk; mix well.

4Pour on top of butter.

5Don't stir!

6Add 3 cups fruit layer (if canned use syrup).

7Sprinkle 1 cup sugar on top of fruit.

8Add sprinkles of cinnamon and nutmeg.

9Bake at 350°, until brown and crusty, 30 to 35 minutes.
