  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. Coca-Cola Classic
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c. small marshmallows

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix sugar and flour into mixing bowl; set aside.

    In a saucepan, blend Coca-Cola, butter, shortening and cocoa.

    Bring to boil.

    Remove from heat and add to flour mixture. Beat eggs; add.

    Mix soda with buttermilk; add.

    I mix flour, sugar and marshmallows together before I add hot mixture.

    Bake in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan for 40 minutes.
