- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 onion, minced
- 1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Combine ground beef with all ingredients.

2Form into 1-inch balls.

3Saute in a small amount of oil in a skillet until well browned on all sides.

4Drain on paper towels.

5Combine ingredients for sauce and heat in a saucepan for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring gently.

6Pour sauce over meatballs.

7Serve hot.
