- 2 eggs
- 1 c. cocoa
- 1 c. oil
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. hot water
- 5 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 10 Tbsp. canned milk
- 15 Tbsp. brown sugar
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Put ingredients into bowl in the order given.

2Do not beat until all items are added.

3Beat well.

4Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan in 350° oven for 40 to 50 minutes.

5This was Jim's mother's recipe and when we would go to Pennsylvania for a visit, this cake was always on the table ready to eat.
