- 7 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 3/4 c. boiling water
- 1 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 3/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Set out 10-inch tube pan; measure and pour into large bowl egg whites.

2Allow to stand at room temperature about 1 hour.

3Set aside egg yolks in small bowl.

4Mix cocoa and boiling water and set aside to cool.
