  • 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 c. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 egg whites, lightly beaten
  • 1 recipe Cocoa Frosting
  • 1/2 recipe Vanilla Pudding

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    In large bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, cream of tartar, baking soda and cinnamon.

    Set aside.

    In medium bowl, combine applesauce, honey, egg whites and vanilla. Gently stir into flour mixture and mix until just blended.
