  • 7 c. freshly made coffee
  • 2 c. whipping cream, whipped until stiff
  • 2 qt. chocolate ice cream
  • 1/2 c. rum
  • 1 tsp. almond extract

Directions

    Pour the chilled coffee into a large, chilled bowl.

    Add 1/2 of the ice cream.
  3. 3
    Beat until the ice cream is partially melted. Add rum, almond extract and whipped cream.

    Fold in the remainder of the ice cream.

    Pour into tall glasses and sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg or grated sweet chocolate.
