  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 small pkg. dates, cut
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Cook first 4 ingredients over low heat for 5 minutes.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Cool; shape into balls and roll in flaked coconut.
